Friend,
We all know that gas prices are hurting Kansas families and small businesses. Of course, the situation in Ukraine is making it worse, but our nation was already struggling with high gas prices before the conflict began.
In fact, it really started on Jan. 20, 2021, when President Biden picked up his pen on his first day in office and signed an executive order to cancel the Keystone XL Pipeline.
But he didn't stop there.
Since then, he's continued his attack on American energy producers, especially here in the heartland. Biden waived sanctions on the dirty Russian Nord Stream 2 Pipeline, and he's begged OPEC and others to produce more fuel for the United States instead of encouraging energy independence and reversing his bad policies.
That's why our Kansas Champion has introduced and cosponsored legislation to renew our energy independence. Ron knows that it's not just about lower prices at the pump, but we are a safer and stronger nation when we don't have to rely on foreign adversaries for energy.

Instead, Biden now wants to seek oil from Iran and socialist Venezuela. After a year of bad policies that have led to historically high fuel prices, the president just can't seem to understand that Americans want energy independence.
We know that Ron is working to restore our energy independence, but we also want to hear from you. Should the Biden administration reverse their policies that attack American energy or buy more oil from Iran, Venezuela and other foreign adversaries?
